Regulations

The status of Chartered Geologist within the Geological Society of London enables access to Europe through the designation European Geologist or EurGeol. The main difference between CGeol and EurGeol is that EurGeol requires mandatory CPD. However, the use of GSL voluntary CPD forms makes this a fairly painless task. Chartered Geologists are encoraged to join the voluntary CPD scheme details of which can be found via the link below

To maintain and improve standards of those applying for Chartered Geologist status it is desireable to set down necessary guidelines for training and experience following graduation.
